A cup in tribute to the Qianlong era.
Created at the beginning of the 20th century, this cup in porcelain with a polylobal shape is a tribute to those resulting from the production under the emperor Qianlong (1735-1796) where the so-called 'pink family' porcelain had a flourishing.
In total inspiration of this one, it is crossed along its outer body and its interior with floral patterns as well as objects. This decor is called 'Objets savants' (Learned objects) because it is painted with objects from everyday life & leisure of Chinese culture (chessboard, burning vase incense, fruit cup,..)
The seal or apocryphal mark under the cup attests to this tribute to the Qianlong era,(qián lóng nián zhì) = 'Made during the Qianlong period' in the taste of the early 20th century in China. This remains a very beautiful piece for collecting or decorating.
