"Exotic Birds, Oil Painting By Henri Sené (1889-1961)"
Oil on cardboard, one side depicting exotic birds perched on branches, the other a view of the quays (Louvre?), signed Henri Sené, Orientalist and animal painter. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he was awarded the Rosa Bonheur Prize in 1923 and traveled to South America where he worked at the École des Beaux-Arts in La Paz, Bolivia.
