A Sicilian cart element, likely the rear section, carved and painted from a single block of wood, Sicily, Italy, first half of the 20th century. The decoration is perfectly symmetrical: in the center, an eagle with outstretched wings, followed by two stylized dragon figures, a tree, and a house. The ends are two stylized bird figures. Two circular notches on the upper part of the ends allow for mounting on the cart. A hook is present on the back.
