Benito Mussolini, depicted full-length on a beveled cubic onyx pedestal, made of 800 silver. 800 hallmark and maker’s mark on the back (to be identified). 20th-century work. Beautiful cast quality, a rare collector’s item.
His head, which is the same size as his body, makes this depiction a fine caricature of this Italian politician. His arms resting on his hips and his stern expression with furrowed brows accentuate his already unapproachable demeanor; it seems likely that he is not very pleased with what is unfolding before his eyes!
