We can see aesily on the body of the small pottery the raised striations from the throwing process by the master potter.
The same can be note for the pitcher, with oblique marks from throwing and shaping on the rim, which are also found inside the pitcher.

These marks of the artisan's intervention perfectly demonstrate the skillful and consistent throwing of the form, and the poetic intervention of the potter's hand in the creation of the piece: the handles were attached while the potter was still raw, that is, before firing, using his thumb.
The smoothing marks are clearly visible at the top and bottom of the handle on the pitcher, and the attachment of one of the handles on the small pot created a slight indentation in the initial shape.

It stay important to remember that these pottery pieces were fired in the Middle Ages in wood-fired kilns, with temperatures that could fluctuate throughout the entire production process.

Both pieces, simple and common, are in perfect condition, without any restoration. They remain particularly rare to find, especially in this impeccable condition.

They can be sold separately: €750 for the pitcher and €240 for the small two-handled vase.
