Large holy water font with plain fire technic of production, earthenware with a black iridescent glaze.
The front of the holy water font is molded with a relief motif of intertwined letters MA (for AVE MARIA?) under a crown.
A shell crowns the top of the holy water font.

Perfect condition and very nice uniform and "silvered" glaze (these pieces are often broken and/or restored at the junction of the backsplash and the holy water receptacle).
Note a few micro chipping of the enamel at the edge of the holy water receptacle
