Very beautiful painting representing a hunting dog positioned behind a terrace sniffing the product of its hunt where we can see doe, pheasants, partridges etc. Our oil was done on panel and bears the artist's signature at the bottom right. Our painting is sold without a frame. Adrien Simoneton was born in Paris in 1862 to Antoine Simoneton and Emmanuelle Ollive, creators of the Simoneton establishments, a world-renowned company in the textile sector, fire hoses, various filters etc. Holders of numerous patents and awards acquired in the major universal exhibitions. Adrien will prefer to choose a life as an artist, he will be a draftsman, engraver, cabinetmaker and above all a painter. Landscape painter he will paint the Bay of Naples, the Bay of Saint-Tropez, then at the beginning of the 20th century he will be very influenced by the Barbizon school, in fact nature will be essential for him.
