Charming little vase in Limoges porcelain entirely hand-painted, representing a pretty poppy decoration on a soft blue background. The neck, as well as the heel are decorated with a circular net in fine gold. This vase was made by L. Buisson, a very talented decorator, active in the 1930s - 1940s. Our porcelain bears the artist's signature under his bass.
