Charming landscape representing a valley in which a river flows overlooked by several bridges. A village appears in the background of the bridges. The first shot shows the lock shovel used to regulate the flow of water. This charming painting is signed LF Lamy, it is dated 1899. The signature is at the bottom left of the canvas but partially hidden by the groove in the frame. It is sold with a very beautiful water green frame, decorated with two golden sticks.
