Large Provençal Walnut Sideboard, Second Half Of The 18th Century

Impressive sideboard in solid walnut, Provençal craftsmanship, dating to the second half of the 18th century. Beautifully balanced proportions and the regional Louis XV profile with elegant molded lines.
The façade features four paneled doors with shaped moldings and six drawers on the upper section, three on each side, with original iron ring pulls. Original iron locks and escutcheons with hand-forged workmanship. Finely scalloped lower apron, paneled sides, and a spacious interior with wooden shelves. The back retains its original boards and period nails.
Condition:Very good condition with a well-preserved historical patina. Only noteworthy restoration: all feet have been replaced at a later date, with attention to the original aesthetic.
