Green Majolica Plate Set By Copeland & Garrett, England, 19th Century

Rare English majolica set with bright green glaze, made by the Copeland & Garrett manufactory (Stoke-on-Trent), active between 1833 and 1847.
The set consists of:
10 round plates (diameter 23.5 cm), with moulded leaf decoration;
2 oval bowls with one handle (length 26 cm);
1 large serving bowl/centre piece with two handles (length 30 cm).

Additionally included, but not counted in the main set:
another two-handled centrepiece, one handle restored;
one cracked plate.

All pieces bear the impressed Copeland & Garrett mark on the back, with model number.
Condition:
10 plates, 2 bowls and 1 centrepiece in good condition, with minor signs of wear. One centrepiece and one plate show defects and are included as extras.
