An elegant French console table from the first half of the 19th century, crafted from solid mahogany and mahogany veneer with a beautiful flamed grain.The structure features refined single-leg front legs, ending in carved animal-head feet and embellished with large side volutes and carved foliage motifs—elements typical of the finest French craftsmanship of the Louis-Philippe period. The upper panel houses a large drawer constructed with traditional dovetail joints.The back panel is embellished with an original period mirror featuring antique oxidized silver plating. The top is made of shaped black marble. The frame bears a “JACOB” stamp, attributable to the renowned Parisian cabinetmaking tradition of the Jacob family. Condition: good. Solid and stable structure. Normal signs of use, minor conservative restorations, slight wear on the veneer, original oxidized mirror, and marble top with superficial marks.Dimensions: Height 97 cm, Width 103.5 cm, Depth 42.5 cm.
