Apothecary's Bronze Tripod Crucible - 18th century. Bronze tripod crucible. With the wooden handle which is recent. Trace of casting on the bottom: Navel at the end of casting. The cupped legs are in the shape of a "clover". It is marked with the initials of its owner "EAV" and decorated with a heart and stars. It was made by a certain "HUMBERT" in Morteau. Good condition: note 2 small cracks on the tank and a dent in the tank at the height of a leg. (See photos). Diameter 19 cm, height 14 cm, length 38.5 cm
