The profile is widely open with a small, well-marked reserved foot. The interior has concentric grooves made on the wheel, characteristic of Campanian productions. Description: • Material: orange-brown paste • Shape: low cup with flared wall, rounded lip, narrow annular foot • Decoration: internal concentric grooves made on the wheel • Surface: black varnish covering the whole, with areas of wear, flaking and concretions due to burial • Technical traces: visible turning, fingerprints under the foot Use: These Campanian cups with black varnish were used at banquets and in funerary rituals as a symbolic deposit.
