Pewter baluster pitcher, with a long neck, flared throat and foot and acorn thumb.
This model of the Lower Normandy type II is often called a "swan neck"
Control hallmark : crowned C / FALAISE / 1778.
Hallmark of Louis (?) GUEROULT received master in 1763 or shortly before: volatile / LC GUEROVLT / FALAISE / GROV / (1)763.
Height: 23.7 cm.
FALAISE, Between 1778 and 1788, date on which this master settled in CAEN

In very good condition and very well hallmarked.
GROV is the contraction of GUEROVLT (and in the 18th century, the U was written V, as in Latin)
