The hilt is comprised of a set of straight quillons and are completely made of deer bone.
The bone fittings are richly and masterfully engraved, the guard fitting have a crack making it slightly loose.
A box accompanies this dagger which is probably from the 19th century.
The blade of this dagger is incredible with engravings inlaid with copper with the crosses of the Teutonic order and written in Archaic. This seems to indicate the blade may be older perhaps from the medieval period.
The scabbard is comprised of two individual bone pieces of deer expertly carved and made to match, they screw into one another.
The condition overall is of museum condition.
This speaks volumes about the craftsman and smiths who made this piece of art.
