A very special Egyptian dagger with a leaf- or wasp-shaped blade, dating from the 8th to 5th century BC.

Comparable daggers with many characteristics are on display in many museums.
Two of King Tutankhamun's most famous daggers share the same leaf-shaped blades.
This dagger is made entirely of bronze and inlaid with red stones, probably garnet or quartz.
A rare piece.
