Created at the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century, it is cast and chiseled bronze.
It reflects the ancestral know-how of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
This gives it historical importance and charm.

# the Kirin: In Chinese mythology, Kirin is a lucky beast that represents peace and good fortune. In times of chaos, realistic Kirin were carefully carved to express the soldiers' expectation of peace.
