"Large Glass Tobacco Bottle With Double Tin Stopper, 18th Century"
Large 18th century tobacco bottle in brown-green tinted glass, with its double pewter stopper, the inner one enclosing a cork disc and featuring a screw system (key missing). It was intended to keep tobacco dry and away from light. Dimensions: height 38 cm - diameter at the base 11 cm. A hair should be noted 4 cm under the stopper, about halfway around the circumference, which does not appear to compromise the solidity of the object.
