Baroque Conical-stemmed Glass With Bubbles, Probably From Lauenstein, Germany, 18th Century
A conically shaped blown glass piece with a wide, solid stem that encloses a rosette design composed of seven air bubbles: a ring of six bubbles surrounding a central bubble of similar size. Slightly grayish in color, with a flanged foot and a pontil mark in the center.
Possibly attributed to the Lauenstein glassworks (Weserbergland region, Germany), second half of the 18th century, circa 1760–1780.
Dimensions: height 16 cm – rim diameter 7 cm – base diameter 8.3 cm.
