A pharmacy pillbox made of blue-gray tinted blown glass, featuring an inverted pear-shaped body with curved shoulders and a short, slightly flared neck designed to hold a paper or fabric lid secured by a cord. It rests on a baluster leg and a wide, rimmed, hollow circular base.

First half of the 18th century

Dimensions: height 12.3 cm – neck diameter 5 cm – base diameter 6.5 cm.

In good condition, with no cracks or chips. A small, original deformation is visible on the neck. The glass contains numerous small air bubbles from the firing process.
