Large and heavy antique bronze Great Dane, in very good condition, representing the best of late 19th century Viennese bronze work. The original cold lacquer finish shows very light signs of use, typical of its age. It is most likely a Franz Bergman creation, but no marks have been found. The lower part is impossible to verify. Magnificent green marble base. Beautiful Viennese bronze with character.
