"Albert Schultz"
A sculpted plaster bas-relief with a bronze patina from the first half of the 20th century by Albert Schultz (1871-1953). This bas-relief depicts a hunting scene, with the hunter on his mount accompanied by his aggressive dogs ready to pounce on the doe. Beside the doe is a nearly naked woman partially covered by her hair and a young child. The scene takes place in the middle of a forest, characterized by large vegetation. This scene demonstrates the naturalistic and regionalist style that characterizes the artist. The work is signed intaglio in the upper right corner: "A Schultz 41".
