Quai Des Bateliers — Spindler
A wood marquetry piece created between 1930 and 1950 by Paul Spindler (1906–1980). Taken from the banks of the Quai des Bateliers in the Krutenau district, the photograph offers a low-angle view of the eastern façade of the western wing of Strasbourg’s Notre-Dame Cathedral. Alsatian houses can also be seen along the banks of the River Ill.
