Magnificent antique Art Nouveau white wine decanter from WMF (Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik), dating from 1906. Its appearance is breathtaking. This moss-green conical model, with its silver and pewter fittings, is richly decorated with magnificent Art Nouveau ornaments, consisting of flowers and long-haired women's heads, which rotate on the lower part of the decanter. Its hinged lid and handle are beautifully shaped. The knob of the hinged lid is decorated with a flower. This decanter stands on four feet. One of the feet is inscribed "WMF B" and the letters I/O (= 1 gram of silver per cm²) and BS?.
