A very fine German Art Nouveau serving tray, designed by Carl Sigmund Luber (1863-1934), produced between 1896 and 1906 in Nuremberg, Germany. Maker: J. von Schwarz, Nuremberg, a pale blue stamp is visible underneath.
Dimensions:
Tray: approximately 47 cm long, 13.5 cm wide, 5 cm high
Tile: approximately 35 cm long, 12 cm wide
Plate mounted in a heavy brass frame with four metal feet. In very good condition, although there are signs of use.
