Writing Table in Marquetry of Flowering Branches in End Grain Wood on a Rosewood Background, in Violet Wood Frames. Very Rich Ornamentation of Gilded Bronzes with Staples in the Center of the Belt. The Top of scalloped shape with Flower Decoration in Frames of Arabesques and Scrolls surrounded by a Gilded Bronze Astragal. We changed the leather on the top and on the Pull. It opens in belt, by a Drawer on the side. It rests on Cambered Feet shod with Gilded Bronze Clogs, We found this Model in the book: The Cabinetmakers of the 18th Century by Pierre KJELLBERG, page 144, Model of BVRB. Our Writing Table is from the 19th century. However, it has an Inventory Number... It measures 85 CM in Length, 48 CM in Depth, and 75 CM in Height.
