"Chest Of Drawers, Transitional Period, 18th Century "
A Transitional period commode, veneered with marquetry depicting bouquets of flowers and musical instruments within rosewood frames. The rounded uprights are covered with simulated fluting in green-stained wood veneer. It opens at the front with two drawers without a central divider. It rests on slightly cabriole legs, fitted with small gilt bronze sabots. The top is original gray Saint Anne marble. It measures 65 cm long, 40 cm deep, and 84 cm high. It is in very good condition.
