The rim features a delicately modeled basketweave design with sinuous radial reliefs, typical of the German Rococo style. This type of undecorated whiteware was intended for high-end table services.
The back bears the classic crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, characteristic of Meissen.
Condition: the plate is in excellent condition in all visible areas, with no chips to the rim or interior. Only the underside shows minimal wear with tiny chips along the footring. The piece rings beautifully when tapped, indicating a sound and intact body.
