Chinese porcelain cup with polychrome decoration in the center within a large medallion formed by a blue border accented with gold motifs, featuring a bouquet of flowers with a butterfly in the style of Maria Sibylla Merian’s sketches; the wing adorned with scrollwork and foliage motifs attributed to Cornelius Pronk; on the reverse, near the rim, a red-iron border with a gold checkered pattern.
