Bureau Plat à Ogee – Mahogany And Burr Walnut – Late 19th Century
Elegant flat desk in blond mahogany and burr walnut veneer, dating from the end of the 19th century. It opens on the front with five drawers (including a central one) finely inlaid, decorated with gilded bronzes. The top is surrounded by a curved band with ogee edges, and upholstered in gilded black leather and has two retractable side pulls, the whole resting on four turned legs with rudentée fluting, ending in carved sabots.
