A four-drawer cabinet made of solid ebony with a projecting molded cornice, resting on flattened ball feet. The drawer fronts are veneered with red heather burl and adorned with geometric inlays of bone, mother-of-pearl, and tortoiseshell.
The drawer pulls are oval-shaped turned wood. The side panels and the edge of the top feature the same decorative style, with a checkerboard frieze of bone and ebony arranged in a herringbone pattern.
In excellent condition, in the style of 17th- and 18th-century Italian Baroque cabinets, featuring exquisite 19th-century cabinetmaking.
