Lovely hot-blown glass vase, imprisoned in a wrought iron frame with spiral and geometric lines. The decoration, in turquoise blue shades nuanced with speckled and marbled effects, recalls the creations of the Nancy workshops of the late 19th century, notably those of Daum and Majorelle. The thick and irregular glassware plays with transparencies and material effects, while the wrought iron draws an elegant graphic network that emphasizes the curved silhouette of the piece. The whole offers a fine example of the Art Nouveau aesthetic, combining the spontaneity of nature with a refined decorative structure. Very good general condition.
