Venetian Glazed Mirror - 19th Century
Large Venetian repoussé bronze glazing bead mirror with arched pediment adorned with Rococo scrolls and foliate foliage.
The side mirrors and pediment are engraved with fine floral and bird motifs, typical of the Venetian tradition of the 19th century. The glazing beads are of the original mercury, giving the whole a beautiful depth and quality of ornamentation.
Very good condition, original mercury glazing.
