It features three drawers with slightly curved fronts, and a slanted fall-front revealing an interior fitted with small drawers. The sides are straight but richly carved with floral motifs. Cabriole legs and original brass handles and escutcheons complete the ensemble with elegance and consistency.
Preserved in its original patina, the piece has never undergone major restoration. Only minor structural reinforcements have been carried out (some small repairs to the feet and borders). It is a sound, authentic piece, full of charm, with warm wood tones and aged surfaces that narrate its history.
Condition:
Structurally sound and in good overall condition. A light conservation is recommended:
surface cleaning,
preventive woodworm treatment (no active infestation),
small reinforcement gluing,
light polishing and waxing.
