Very elegant pair of Louis XIV style candlesticks in solid silver. They are in perfect condition and are both very well hallmarked. One can clearly read the fleur-de-lis of the city of Lille, the crowned D for the period 1745-46 and the master goldsmith hallmark of Barthélémy de Courchelle, active in Lille from 1726 to 1776. The pair weighs 755 grams.
