Custody in the form of a small monstrance, in silver-plated metal (brass) with a gilded interior, Italy, early 18th century. The top of the custody (Pyxis) is in the form of a round box surmounted by a cross, fitted with a hinged lid that opens and closes. The front face is decorated with the symbol "IHS" in relief. The interior of the custody is fire-gilded. The removable lunula is made of gilded silver. The baluster foot, cast and turned after, is finely engraved with interlacing motifs in the Renaissance style. Used condition.
