Magnificent round box in finely chased silver, decorated using the repoussé technique, probably of Asian origin (Burma or British colonial India), dated to the late 19th century.

This piece is distinguished by its highly detailed ornamental work.
The body of the box features three distinct hunting scenes, in high relief, each framed within a profusion of foliage, stylized flowers and scrollwork:
A chimerical winged creature with a feline appearance and a body covered in scales, surrounded by floral motifs.
A leaping wild beast in full pursuit, within a dynamic plant setting.
A fantastical bird or phoenix, with detailed plumage and outstretched wings, symbolizing vitality and nobility.
The domed lid, topped with a finely carved grip knob, is decorated with a floral frieze in keeping with the rest of the piece.
The work of the decoration is very fine, precise, entirely executed by hand.Technical characteristics:
