Pair of antique Catholic liturgical stoles, richly decorated and intended for priestly use. These textile pieces are made of damask silk with gold braid borders and finished with metallic fringes. Each stole is decorated with a hand-embroidered floral motif, with great finesse and strong Marian symbolism.

Details of the two stoles:
1. Stole with white background and red borders:
• Central floral embroidery representing an open rose with foliage, a frequent Marian symbol (mystical rosebush, purity, divine love)
.• White damask silk, embroidered gold braid, crimson red lining
• Finished with gold fringes.
2. Stole with white ground and gold / yellow borders:
• Central stylized motif of a central stylized rose with four pink leaves.
• Embroidery in gold thread and polychrome silk.
• White silk damask and similar finishes, with gold thread fringes.

Condition
Very good condition overall considering age – clean fabric, intact embroidery, complete fringes. Some discreet signs of use may occur, but do not affect the aesthetic or historical value.
