Authentic reliquary in a box-frame with glass parecloses, decorated with polychrome paperolles, gold thread and embossed silk background. The whole is carefully enclosed in a molded blackened wooden frame, with an inverted profile, glazed on the front, sealed on the back with an ecclesiastical red wax seal of authentication, preserved with its original ribbons.
Description
This type of reliquary, typical of 18th-century Italian Baroque religious art, was intended for the ornamentation of private altars, chapels or monasteries.

This is an ex‑indumentis, that is, an authentic fragment of clothing worn by Saint Camillus de Lellis (1550–1614), founder of the Camillian order, canonized in 1746.
He is the patron saint of nurses and the sick.
Below, in an ornate triangle:Bone relic with handwritten label “S. Rodopheni M.” Probable ex-ossibus fragment of a holy martyr named Rodopheni (or Rhodopenis / Rodopenae), possibly from the ancient Roman martyrology (not modern canon, but plausible presence in the catacomb relics distributed in the 17th–18th centuries from the cemeteries of Rome).

Condition:
Very good condition, traces of wear, discreet chips on the corners of the frame, original glass, intact episcopal seal on the reverse, period strings and sealing.
