Reliquary Of Saint Peter The Apostle

Very old reliquary containing a relic of Saint Peter the Apostle (ex Carne?) This reliquary probably dating from the 19th century contains a relic of Saint Peter with his episcopal wax seal and his sons, accompanied by a document of provenance of its purchase at an antique fair in Namur in Belgium. Description Old reliquary preciously containing a relic under medallion of Saint Peter the Apostle. The relic with its name in Latin is placed on a red silk background and surrounded by golden paperolles. On the back of the medallion the red wax seal and its sons guarantee its authenticity. Condition Good condition of the relic and its seal. The medallion is worn by time and no longer has a pendant ring.
