Superb and important ceramic vase circa 1925 by Luc and Marjolaine Lanel, signed intaglio underneath. Height: 26cm circumference: 65cm Very good condition, just a few small imperfections on the neck, no restoration or cracks. This is therefore an important vase by these famous husband and wife ceramicists, here adorned with a magnificent geometric design in shades of crushed white and raspberry on a speckled grey/beige background. Luc Lanel, born April 27, 1893 in Le Vésinet (Seine-et-Oise) and died September 25, 1965, is a designer, ceramist, craftsman, creator and metal decorator known for his Art Deco industrial design, for the production of silverware and cutlery for the most prestigious international luxury brands such as Christofle and Cesa 1882, but also recognized for the production of ceramics, some of which he produced with his wife Marjolaine.
