A late 19th Century French School bust of Bacchus, with vine leaves encircling his head and wearing a lamb or goat skin beneath a toga. Bronze with light and dark brown patination, mounted on an integral bronze socle. Unsigned, no foundry mark.
Measurements: 42cm (16.5in) high, including socle. 30.5cm (12in) wide.
Weight: 12.2kg (27lbs).
Condition: In very good condition. Very minor rubbing.
