"18th Century German Porcelain Snuff Box/bonbonniere"
An 18th-century German porcelain, probably Nymphenburg, snuff box/bonbonniere in the form of a flower, with silver mounts, the exterior decorated with painted insects and flowers, the interior of the lid painted with a farmyard scene and the inside of the box gilded. The hallmarks rubbed but the town mark possibly for Hamburg and the maker’s mark: D A.
Measurements: Height: 4.5cm, Width: 6.2cm, Depth: 6.5cm
Condition: Excellent. No damage. Slight tarnishing of the silver mounts. Light wear to the gilded interior.
