Important note: Although the cup and saucer are the same pattern, the cup does not sit well in the trembleuse socket. It perches in the top of the socket because both the cup foot and socket are slightly tapered but the cup does not fit properly and would be insecure in use. This leads us to believe that the cup and saucer may be a “marriage” and not original to each other.
