Bembe Statue
Wooden cult statue from the Babembe cultural group of Congo. It measures 14cm and has a beautiful patina of use. The eyes are represented by an inlay of a fragment of white bone. The base of the feet has been broken and reattached. This object is authentic and dates from middle 20th century. It comes from a Toulouse collection.
