Important Pair Of Reliquaries With Fourteen Relics - Circa 1800

Our imposing frames are centered around a large and ancient Agnus Dei, made of wax, in a Glory of silver thread mesh.
The first represents Clement IX, pope from 1667 to 1669, and the second Clement XII, who ruled from 1730 to 1740.

In a montage of silver cannetilles and scrolls decorated with glass beads of various colors and painted flowers, seven bagged Holy relics accompany each of these compositions. These are mostly Martyr Saints from the first centuries. Namely, for one, the Saints, Modeste, Agatha and Agnes, Virgins and Martyrs, Lambertus, Homodeus (?), Sidronius, and finally Bonaventure, the latter saint being from a more recent period.
Then for the second Saint Felix, Fructuosa Virgin and Martyr, Justina Virgin and Martyr also, Vertrudis, Crispinian, abruculus (?) and Génesius.

Our two reliquaries have a wooden frame with a beautiful patina, set in a wooden base of the same color.
On the back are episcopal seals, guaranteeing the inviolability of the relics presented.
This is an Italian work from the very beginning of the 19th century incorporating pieces from the 17th century.
