Very large contemporary Italian box in solid silver and marquetry rose.
The box is round, the plain silver body is generously swollen in the pass part.
The lid has a superb plaque in marquetry of stones forming a blooming rose.
This rose is made up of thin plaques of stones of different colors juxtaposed to create this magnificent natural rose.
The box is hallmarked:
. 925 for the title of the silver
. Goldsmith's hallmark: 176 FI for the Pampaloni Argenti goldsmith house in Florence.
