A silver-gilt sewing set with a cornucopia motif. Late 19th/early 20th century. It includes: - A pair of embroidery scissors - A needle case in the shape of a cornucopia - An embroidery awl - A thimble - A boar's head needle. All these items are original and perfectly matched. They are hallmarked with a boar's head. The case is covered in gilt leather. The silk lining has been replaced. It measures 15.4 x 9.2 cm (widest point).
