Wrought Iron Ladle Inlaid With Bronze.
Large wrought iron ladle, inlaid with bronze plates. These plates are chiseled with patterns that appear to be characters, however these are mysterious and unknown to us, they may be cabalistic, magical signs. The ladle is very heavy and long, moreover it is designed to receive a handle in order to extend it, it is therefore possible that it is a crucible for melting metals, but there is no pouring spout. The object seems very old, many bronze inlays, however thick and deeply embedded, have disappeared. Length 88cm.
